Starter, Pro, and Unlimited plans are typically live within 24 hours of account activation. Whitelabel setups take longer depending on branding scope and app store review — contact us for a timeline when you inquire for white label.

Is there a long-term contract?

Accepted Answer

No long-term contracts. All plans are billed monthly and you can cancel at any time. We also offer a 14-day free trial so you can make sure DispatchMobile is right for your business before committing.

How does billing work at launch?

During our launch period, subscriptions are activated manually. Start your 14-day free trial in the app, then email hello@dispatchmobile.net with your company name and preferred plan (Starter, Pro, or Unlimited). We typically activate paid accounts within one working day.

How do drivers and customers join my fleet?

DispatchMobile uses invite codes to keep your operation private. Create invites from the operator app or web dashboard and share the code with each driver or customer. They enter the code when signing up — no open public registration.

How does the driver app work?

Drivers download the DispatchMobile Driver app on their Android or iOS phone. They receive job notifications, navigate using their preferred maps app, and can collect passenger signatures directly in the app.

We only take phone bookings — is Starter enough?

Yes. Starter is built for phone-first operators: you take bookings by phone, dispatch from the operator dashboard, and drivers use the driver app. Invoicing is included. There is no passenger app on Starter. Upgrade to Pro when you need account customers, or Unlimited when you want a passenger app.

What are account customers?

Accepted Answer

Account customers are passengers you mark for invoice billing instead of cash on each job. On Pro and Unlimited you can flag customers as account customers, set weekly or monthly billing cycles, generate invoices from completed jobs, and create recurring bookings (e.g. school runs). There is no separate corporate portal — you manage everything from the operator dashboard.

Can my passengers book through an app?

Passenger app access is available on Unlimited and Whitelabel. Invite customers with a code and they book through the DispatchMobile passenger app — jobs flow into the same dispatch queue as phone bookings. Whitelabel can put your brand on the driver app only, or on both driver and passenger apps in the app stores.

How does manual fare entry work?

On each booking you set a Driver Total (what the driver earns) and an Operator Amount (your take). The Job Total is the sum — that is what the customer pays. You stay in control of pricing on every job.

DispatchMobile is built with UK private hire licensing requirements in mind. The platform helps you maintain driver and vehicle compliance records, but it is your responsibility to ensure your operation meets your local council licensing conditions.
