Essence Personal Chauffeur operates the App. By using the App you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Description of Service

Essence provides a multi-tenant dispatch platform connecting operators, drivers, and riders.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use the App.

3. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Operator Responsibilities

Operators are responsible for holding the necessary licences and for ensuring their drivers and vehicles remain compliant with applicable regulations.

5. Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must hold a valid licence, provide genuine compliance documents, and consent to location sharing while online.

6. Rider Responsibilities

Riders must provide accurate booking details and behave respectfully toward drivers and operators.

7. Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings may be edited within a 48-hour window. Cancellation terms are set by the operator.

8. Fares and Payments

Operators set their own tariffs. We are not a party to any payment between riders, operators, and drivers.

9. Location Data

Driver location is used for dispatch and tracking while online, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Document Uploads

You must upload only genuine, valid documents.

11. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the App, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it for unlawful purposes.

12. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the App belongs to Essence Personal Chauffeur or its licensors.

13. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including Geoapify, Expo, and Sentry.

14. Disclaimers

Essence is a technology platform only and is not a taxi operator. We do not provide transport services ourselves.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the App.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the App or breach of these Terms.

17. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or applicable law.

18. Changes

We will give 14 days' notice for material changes to these Terms.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
